Rainwater Goods & Roofline
When carrying out planned maintenance and replacement door and window programmes, it makes sense that the rainwater and roofline upgrades are done at the same time. This not only gives a better aesthetic but from the landlords’ perspective, saves money. However, when this is not possible, we work with clients to ensure maximum VFM as to when the rainwater and roofline are installed – e.g. we work with painting contractors to build it into their cyclical decorations programmes when scaffolding is already in place.
Fascias
Our fascias interlock at right angles to the soffits and support the gutters. Joinery is kept to a minimum with 5m lengths. Where joints are required, purpose designed trims lock the lengths of the fascia together neatly yet firmly. The cellular core at the centre of the fascia will grp traditional fixings more securely than the softwood versions they often replace.
Soffits
Just like traditional tongue and groove boarding, our soffits can be built to any size of projection. At least one of the boards in a length will include a special ventilation grille allowing air to circulate within the roof space, reducing the likelihood of condensation in the loft.
Bargeboards
These look like wood and are fitted in the same way, using high marine grade stainless steel pins. The main section is 10m across with strengthening ribs at the rear taking the overall thickness to 20mm. where the bargeboards meet the fascias at the box ends, a special jointing clip ensures a tight, weatherproof seal.
Guttering & Downpipes
Long lasting PVC-U gutters and downpipes are available in a choice of of round (Deepflow), half round, ogee and square designs. They come in a range of colours; white, black, light grey, Anthracite Grey and brown finishes. Anglian Building Products also supply and install optional gutter protection.
