What to Expect
This short video will guide you through the journey for installing your new windows or doors. From the initial survey through to the installation phases to aftercare and support, we aim to make the process as smooth as possible, causing you limited disruption.
We have also broken down the journey into the following information blocks. We know how important great customer service is, especially when work is being carried out in your tenant's homes. All of our highly trained project teams will complete their work carefully and efficiently to ensure minimal disruption and ensure Health & Safety procedures are observed at all times.
Step 1 – Notification of works
We will send out a notification of works that will invite you to a group consultation and we will provide a Resident Information Handbook and be on hand to answer any questions.
Step 2 - Consultation
A group consultation will be held in a local community facility, where applicable. We will share project information, display products and demonstrations.
Step 3 - Survey
Individual consultations will be held with one of our experienced surveyors to complete a full fenestration survey and confirm customer choices.
Step 4 - Communication
We will keep you and your housing provider informed of the proposed installation date. A reminder of the installation date will be sent to you 48 hours prior to commencement of works. and we will contact you directly if rescheduling is required.
Step 5 - Installation
Installations are completed by our local fully qualified fitters. We ensure dust sheets, carpet protectors and external groundsheets are used for protection during installation. You will get a full product demonstration after the installation is complete and a Care and Maintenance Guide will be provided.
Step 6 - Customer Satisfaction
A full installation inspection is carried out by our project supervisors and a customer satisfaction survey is provided to each resident. Our customer care team are on hand for any questions or queries regarding their installation.
How Do You Know It’s Us?
Our Installers wear Anglian Building Products branded uniforms and drive liveried vans. All members of staff will also carry an Anglian Building Products ID card.
It is important that you check the photo identification card before allowing anyone to enter your home.
Never allow anybody without proper identification into your home.

All of our staff carry photographic identification with them, which they will show to you before entering your home. Should you have any concerns regarding identification, please contact our office on 0800 988 9395.
Yes, we need to have access to both inside and outside of your property. In preparation for the visit please ensure the surveyor can easily get to the inside of all your windows to take the required measurements. We would ask, where possible, you clear internal window cills of belongings.
If for any reason the appointment is not convenient, please contact the surveyor listed on your appointment letter or contact our office on 0800 988 9395 – Option 1.
Our installers recognise that some people will not be able to do this, and we will be happy to move it for you if needed, so please don’t worry.
You will normally be given at least 7 day’s notice of installation, but if this is not sufficient for your employer, please contact us to advise.
It depends on the scale of the works. For a typical house window and door replacement project, we aim to complete within 1 day, but cannot guarantee this. Our Contracts team will be able to advise you on this at the time of booking. Call us on 0800 9889395.
